Diana represents entrepreneurs and business owners in transactions with their customers, clients and employees. She holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting, summa cum laude, from University of Maryland, College Park, and a law degree, cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law. She is admitted to the Maryland Bar. With a background in tax and accounting, she brings common sense to business transactions. She strives for simplicity while empowering her clients with knowledge and a solid business structure to allow room for growth and new challenges.
Diana routinely counsels clients on various business contracts such as service agreements, consulting agreements, non-disclosure and non-compete agreements, employment agreements, works-made-for- hire agreements, licensing and reseller agreements, and related contracts. She also advises clients on the use of policies and procedures to streamline contract negotiations and minimize compliance burdens. She identifies legal and business risks, advises management on contractual obligations, and guides clients towards improvement and away from legal entanglements. When a controversy becomes inevitable however, she discusses the implications of litigation with her clients and formulates a strategy that is in the client's best interest.
Diana is actively involved in the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland where she attends courses and committee meetings related to business issues. She volunteers her time to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Association at the Washington College of Law and serves on the board of directors of the Metropolitan Ballet Theater and Academy. Diana enjoys attending classical concerts, painting, and spending time with her family.
